He suffered under Pontius Pilate, (John 18:28-19:16)
was crucified, died, and was buried. (John 19:17-42)
He descended to the dead. (Mark 15:37; Luke 23:44-46)
On the third day he rose again. (Matthew 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-10)
He ascended into heaven, (Luke 24:50-51; Acts 1:6-11)
and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Romans 8:34; Colossians 3:1)
He will come again to judge the living and the dead. (Revelation 20:11-15)

I believe in the Holy Spirit, (John 1:33)
the holy catholic (universal) Church, (Ephesians 2:19-22)
the communion of saints, (Romans 12:4-8)
the forgiveness of sins, (Acts 2:39; 1 John 1:9)
the resurrection of the body, (1 Corinthians 15)
