Thinking and acting in a holy way because I am ( you are) connected to Jesus.
1) John 17:17. Have your disciple read this passage from their Bible. "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
a. Where do we find God’s truth?
b. How can you receive God truth?
c. If God declares His word is truth, what should we expect to gain from it.
2) 1 Peter 1:15. Have your disciple read this passage from their Bible. "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do."
a. Who is calling you to be holy?
i. Jesus.
b. What does it mean to be holy?
i. Connected to Jesus so his life flows in & though you.
3) 1 Thessalonians 4:3. Have your disciple read this passage in their Bible. "It is Gods will that you should be sanctified;...."
a. What does God desire for you?
b. What changes do you need to make to desire the same thing?
4) Philippians 4:8-9. Have you disciple read this passage in their Bible. "Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praise worthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learner or received or heard from me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
