Connecting Through Prayer

Psalms 145:18. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
The Lord has given us prayer for what purpose?
Who can call on the lord?
Philippians 4:6-7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ.

Mark 1:35. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place where he prayed.
What may be several reason for Jesus to seek a solitary place for prayer?
1 Thessalonians. 5:16-18. Be joyful always; praying continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

When you call on the lord what should you expect?
Psalms 32:5. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said "I will confess my transgressions to the lord." and you forgave the guilt of my sin.
