So you are in this relationship with Jesus Christ. What next? How do I go forward and grow up in this relationship?
1. Get with someone who is already a disciple and learn from/with them.
2. Become part of a church family. Attend both the weekend gathering and a house church.
3. Start learning who Jesus is by reading or listening to the Bible. Start with the book of John.
4. Begin praying. Talk to Jesus about life as if he is your best friend. Ask him to show you the way.
5. Follow the new things you are learning.
6. Put away anything that gets in the way of you following Jesus. This can be tough. He will give you the strength, just ask him.

Colossians 1.9-14 We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[f] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
1 Peter 2.2-3 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
2 Peter 3.18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
