Young Adult

Young adults are wonderful to watch. They have grown through doing things just because they were told to do them. And are now serving and engaging in relationships because it is healthy to do so. The learning is still occurring but now in a different realm. The learning has to do with continuing to serve and the discipline required to do so. Learning how to navigate some of the complexities of different ministry situations. It also has to do with owning a desire to love one another in our day and age. Young adults do not yet own the responsibility to make disciples but are willing to help make that happen. A “Do I have to do this” mentality has been replaced with, “I want to do this.” Learning how to respond to those in authority is also an important part of this stage. Another important part of this stage is becoming equipped to reproduce themselves in the life of another.

Young adults know the world does not revolve around them. They are willing to help with family responsibilities. They are growing in how to handle of the more complex things that are on the horizon if they continue forward.
